At Tollcross we believe that children learn effectively when there is a genuine partnership between home and school. We welcome the opportunity to work with parents/carers and welcome their support and involvement in their children's learning. Parent Council meetings are held in our school - dates of these meetings are on our website. All parents and carers are welcome to attend !
Family Learning @ Tollcross
We have a Family Learning Group at Tollcross. This is a community based group who meet with parents to look at ways of supporting their child's learning in school. This has involved making games, using the computer and looking at activities which support children's learning at home. This group is very informal and the activities are structured to support parents and children learning and having fun together.
