Environmental Studies
The children learn about the world we live in through our Environmental Studies Programme. Each class follows unit studies which develop the children's skills in observation, increase knowledge, develop understanding, develop key skills and inform attitudes which are necessary to interpret the world we live in.

Expressive Arts
Within our school we aim to provide the children with the opportunity to experience a wide range of expressive art activities within a safe and secure learning environment. Expressive arts teaching places emphasis on enjoyment, developing key skills, personal development, individual achievement and the development of self-esteem. At Tollcross we have specialist teachers in Drama, Art, Music and P.E.

Religious and Moral Education
We use Religious and Moral Education to help children develop a greater awareness of themselves and others. We seek to develop a respect for the feelings and beliefs of others and encourage the children to develop a knowledge of all world religions.

PSD
At Tollcross we have a Positive Behaviour Management Policy which supports and rewards good behaviour within our school. We aim to develop a positive attitude towards self and others through 'Circle Time', class golden rules, golden time and sharing the common values of fairness and respect within our school.

ICT
At Tollcross we have a Computer Suite and a computer in each class room. ICT supports learning across the curriculum and gives pupils the opportunity to become familiar with new technology in our ever changing world.
